It has been a true honor to inhabit this character for 6 seasons & tell this story w/ these beautiful people. When we met these characters their lives were already well under way. After we leave them, their lives will continue on in our hearts, minds and imaginations. #ThisIsUs pic.twitter.com/Zonb83U2bx

Talking about the show and how brilliant a job it did with each passing season, one of the Twitter users said that it was the ‘artistically wholesome family show’ they have ever watched. Another user wrote, “This show had a beginning and end since inception. Finale shots from years ago prove that. It’s why the storytelling has been tremendous.” One of them also went on to write, “Parents. Sons. Daughters. Siblings Grandparents. Aunts. Uncles. The true power of this show, the reason we laughed and wept and hoped so deeply is “we” were the “us” all along.” Another wrote, that this is the ‘most thoughtful, well structured, smartly written, spectacularly acted, emotionally inviting and heart provoking series’ they have ever watched.
I just watched the finale of what was probably the most artistically wholesome family show I have ever watched.
It reinforced beliefs like empathy, togetherness, nostalgia, ambition, and male affection.
There will be no other like it. I’m sad to see it go.#ThisIsUs

I thought I wasn’t going to cry until William he made that speech about loving someone unconditionally knowing you may not be a big part of their story. 🥹🥹🥹 grandparents are so important #ThisIsUs

This show had a beginning and end since inception. Finale shots from years ago prove that. It’s why the storytelling has been tremendous. Care and attention to the small details and also the big picture. Bravo @ThisIsUsWriters #ThisIsUs

I cannot believe that tonight marks the end of #ThisIsUs 💛 I have never watched a show that has made me reflect on my own life as much as this one. It has been a beautiful journey, and I’m thankful I got to experience it these last 6 years. Thank you for the wonderful ride.

People wanting some big grand dramatic send off episode are missing the entire point of the show. Life, like the finale, at the end comes down to a random collection of stories and small moments. Those small things are what we are. Not the big ones. #ThisIsUs

I love how quiet this finale is. Just quiet family moments. Thats always been this show at its core and its the best thing to show as we wrap up the story. #ThisIsUs
