In fact, the actor is coming back to the screens with her new movie, Shabaash Mithu. The biographical sports drama directed by Srijit Mukherji is based on the life of former Test and ODI captain of the Indian women’s cricket team, Mithali Raj. While the promotions are in full swing, Taapsee Pannu, in a recent interview, revealed that she is not just producing Dhak Dhak, but is also backing another film that will have Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the lead.
Yep, Taapsee Pannu, in a recent interview, said that she is not only producing the upcoming road adventure movie, Dhak Dhak starring Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Sanjana Sanghi, but is also backing another movie that will be headlined by Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

Speaking about her new project starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Taapsee Pannu said, “There is something that we are working together on. We will announce what it is very soon. But yes, we are working on something together. I will be producing it.”
When she was asked if she is going to be acting in her new project, Taapsee Pannu said that if there was a part that she can do, then she would but otherwise it is going to Samantha Ruth Prabhu who would be leading it. She even went on to say that she is extremely excited about producing this project of theirs.

Taapsee Pannu even goes on to talk about producing Dhak Dhak. She says that whenever she sees the call sheet, pictures, videos, etc. from different shoot locations, there is a childlike excitement in her. She goes on to call the movie her baby and seeing it growing is what excites her the most.
