Singer Rahul Jain, Accused Of Raping Costume Stylist, Calls The FIR To Be “Fake And Baseless”
Rahul Jain is a singer and music composer who started his career by participating in the reality show MTV Aloft in the year 2014. The singer is currently facing some serious allegations against him by a 30-year-old costume stylist. Going by the recent news reports, an FIR has been filed against Rahul Jain for allegedly raping a costume stylist under the pretext of giving her work. In response to the allegations made by the stylist, the singer has dismissed all of this saying that the case is “fake and baseless.”

The FIR was filed against Rahul Jain in the Oshiwara Police station, Mumbai. The FIR has been filed by a 30-year-old costume stylist who has accused the singer of allegedly raping her at his Mumbai flat. As per reports, in the details recorded by the complainant, the stylist has revealed that Rahul Jain contacted her through the social media platform Instagram and started the conversations by first appreciating her for her work. Reportedly, the complainant in her FIR also said that Rahul had invited her to his flat in Andheri to give her the job of his personal costume stylist. The Mumbai police further disclosed some more details of the FIR and quoted that the stylist had visited Rahul Jain’s flat on August 11, and the singer raped her in his bedroom. As per news reports, the woman was working as a freelance costume stylist.

Reportedly, the woman in her FIR against singer Rahul Jain has also accused him of destroying the evidence and also recorded that he assaulted her when she tried to resist him. The Mumbai police has now registered the FIR against the singer under IPC sections 376 (Punishment for rape), 323 (Punishment for voluntary causing hurt), and 506 (Punishment for criminal intimidation). However, there have been no arrests made for the allegations.

Rahul Jain has also put forth his statement on the allegations and said that he does not know about the woman and the claims made by her are simply “fake and baseless.” He backed us his statement by saying that such charges had been made against him in the past as well, and they too proved to be false. He called the woman an ally of the one who had previously accused him of raping and cheating charges in October, last year.
