Shefali Jariwala Was Suffering From Epilepsy Seizures After The Success Of ‘Kaanta Laga’

Shefali Jariwala has appeared in Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar’s film Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. She also participated in dance reality shows like Nach Baliye 5 and Bigg Boss 13. But she is famous for featuring in the hit number ‘Kaanta Laga’. Shefali Jariwala mentioned that often people ask her why she did not accept offers after ‘Kaanta Laga’ and revealed the reason behind it. Turns out, she has been suffering from epilepsy seizures from the age of 15. Shefali went through tremendous pressure to do well in her studies, and the stress and anxiety of it all lead to seizures. Shefali Jariwala mentioned that because of the epilepsy seizures, the actress couldn’t take up much work. She didn’t know when she would get her next seizure and this went on for 15 years. Shefali further revealed that now she is nine years seizure-free and very proud of herself because she managed her depression, panic attacks, and anxiety naturally with the help of a strong support system. The actress also shared how she stayed positive during the pandemic, “The pandemic situation has been tough, but I consciously worked on my mental health and stayed away from any kind of things that could trigger depression. I focused on doing meditation, yoga, sketching, drawing and other things that kept me happy. Exercise and some positive lifestyle changes helped me a lot.”
