‘She Said’ Trailer: Crime Drama About Two  Journalists Who Uncover Harvey Weinstein’s Sexual Abuse Looks Riveting

Movies based on real-life crimes and incidents are always intriguing. The highly-awaited Hollywood movie, She Said trailer is out. It was released on July 14, Thursday. The movie revolves around the story of two fearless New York Times reporters who uncovered the sexual harassment allegations of American film producer, Harvey Weinstein. The allegations against Harvey Weinstein had also given rise to the ME TOO movement. 

She Said, features Carey Mulligan and Zoe Kazan in the lead roles. The two actresses will be seen playing the roles of the two journalists, Carey as Megan Twohey and Zoe as Jodi Kantor. Patricia Clarkson, Andre Braugher, and Samantha Morton will also be seen along with the lead star cast. The movie is based on a Pulitzer-winning investigation and is an adaptation of the book written by the reporters themselves. She Said has been directed by Maria Schrader under the production company of Universal Pictures UK film. The producers of the film are Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, and Jeremy Kleiner. The movie is all set to release on November 18, 2022.

The story revolves around the investigation that the two journalists carry out to reveal the allegations of Harvey Weinstein. It shows Carey (Megan) and Zoe (Jodi) finding the victims of Harvey and convincing them to come out and speak about the abuse they suffered. The trailer also shows the rejections that the reel life Zoe and Megan faced while they tried to connect with all the victims. From the trailer you also get to know, that the movie might also portray the hesitant and feared nature of the victims who lacked the courage to speak the truth, however, the journalists do a great job in giving them confidence.The trailer also showed how powerful a man like Harvey Weinstein is and to the extent, he can misuse that power to bury the truth.
