One of the greatest bonds one can share is the one between a father and daughter. As an only daughter myself, I will say that despite having a rather complicated relationship with my father, I have grown to have a lot of respect for him; celebrating our similarities and accepting our differences. And I know that no matter what, he will always have my back. So my heart melted earlier today when I saw the cute manner Sara Ali Khan wished her “abba jaan” Saif Ali Khan a happy birthday.
Today is Saif Ali Khan’s 52nd birthday, and on this special occasion, birthday greetings have been pouring in for him. Sara Ali Khan joined in and shared a sweet post for her father to wish him for the occasion. Sara also shared some sweet pictures from her childhood to adulthood along with her post. She also told Saif that she will always be his “first chape”.

Sara wished her father Saif a happy birthday on Instagram by sharing three photos. First was an adorable picture of Sara as an infant who was being held close to her new father, Saif. The next showed Sara as a young girl in Saif’s arms, and the final image showed Saif holding adult Sara in his arms. Sara captioned the photos saying “Happiest Birthday Abba Jaan”, she further said, “I’ll always be your first chape”
Sara recently shared her perspective on her relationship with Saif Ali Khan in an interview. She said that she and her father discuss books and even give each other book recommendations. She also reminisced that as a child, she discovered that her father had a keen interest in history and that they travelled to Rome and Florence and visited each city’s museums together. Aww, what a fun way to bond!
