Samantha Ruth Prabhu in recent times has made headlines for varying reasons. This time around also she has made headlines and for enchanting reasons. The actress has made her mark as a versatile actor and to prove that all over again, she is gracing the screens with her upcoming Telugu movie, Shaakuntalam. It is the movie wherein Samantha Ruth Prabhu plays the lead role of Shakuntala. But that’s not just why she made the headlines. It is because of the first poster of Shaakuntalam where the actor can be seen looking surreal in an all-white attire with floral accessories. To say she looks enchanting, would be an understatement.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu took to her Instagram to share the first poster of her upcoming Telugu movie, Shaakuntalam whose cast includes Dev Mohan, Allu Arjun’s daughter Allu Arha, Mohan Babu, Sachin Khedekar, Gautami, Aditi Balan, and Ananya Nagalla. In the poster, the actor is dressed in an all-white attire with floral embellishments and accessories to complete her Shakuntala look.

In Shaakuntalam, the actor is going to play Shakuntala, Dev Mohan is set to play King Dushyanta, and Allu Arha will be playing the role of Prince Bharata.

As per reports, Shaakuntalam is a mythological, magical movie that is based on the play Abhijnanashakuntalam that is written by one of the greatest Indian poets, Kalidasa.

Seeing the poster and having read the summary of the play, I can’t wait to see the movie coming alive on the big screens. In fact, it won’t be a lie if I say that I’m anticipating the trailer over anything else (the movie not included, lol).
