The first episode of the much-awaited Koffee with Karan season 7 is here on the OTT platform Disney plus Hotstar, and what an amazing start to the season. The first episode of Koffee with Karan was graced by Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. There was no doubt that the host Karan Johar would not bring up questions about marriage to the newlywed Alia Bhatt. The Tel Aviv Flight
Okay, so this particular incident was where it all started, as per Alia. The actor shared a short anecdote about the time when she first felt the spark with Ranbir Kapoor and no it was not some beautiful location, but on a flight, which actually makes the story all the more beautiful. When asked about the incident, Alia stated that both actors had boarded a flight to Tel Aviv, where they were scheduled to attend a Brahmastra workshop. In addition, Alia stated that she was overjoyed to have Ranbir sit next to him on the flight, but because the seat was problematic, Ranbir had to change seats, leaving Alia disappointed. However, Alia did get him next to her later in the journey, and also said that the vibe between them kind of started from this incident.

The Safari Proposal
Koffee with Karan did give us the chance to hear about this proposal because the picture of it increased our curiosity. This of course was the most special moment in Alia’s life and she did give us a little detail about it. Alia stated that Ranbir is very good at planning surprises and she was blown away by the proposal. Talking more about it the actor said that since the wedding plans were getting delayed, the couple had almost stopped talking about it and when she was least expecting it, there Ranbir was with a ring and on his knees. Alia also revealed that the proposal was made in Masai Mara which is a very special place for both of them. Alia also said that she was very surprised and happy to know that Ranbir had also asked the guide to take pictures of the moment.

The story of Ranbir and Pandit Ji
This one was hilarious actually. Alia revealed that Ranbir is a very ritualistic person, and during the wedding ceremony, he actually listened to everything that the priest was saying. She also said that Ranbir mocked Alia and asked the priest to explain to her whatever he was saying.
Suhagraat Myth
This story has already been making headlines after the trailer of the first episode was released. To Karan Johar’s question of what is the biggest myth about the wedding, Alia instantly replied suhagraat which means the first night after marriage and then goes on to say that the couple gets very tired to actually have a suhagraat.
Ranbir’s name on Ali’s Phone?
In the rapid-fire round, Alia was posed with a question about what name has she saved for Ranbir Kapoor on her phone. To this, the actor replied that since now she had to get over the fact that Ranbir is no longer her boyfriend, she changed the name to “husband with a heart emoji”. Alia also said that she keeps changing his name.

Alia Bhatt flaunted her wedding ring Koffee with Karan and we knew this was coming. She also shared why it was the closest thing to her heart, obviously one because it is a wedding ring but then there is more to it. Giving us some sneak peek details Alia said that the ring has been engraved with the relationship philosophy that the couple. According to Alia Bhatt, becoming a part of the Kapoor family brought a big change in her life in terms of learning about the culture. Alia said that her Bhatt family was a nuclear one, but the Kapoors are not just a big family but also do gatherings and celebrations together which was very new for her, even the aartis. Talking about Diwali pujas, Alia said that she has actually become a pro in organising everything for it and bringing the whole family together.

Talking about “My Wedding” in the last buzzer round of the Koffee with Karan episode, Alia talked about the whole wedding day in a brief for 30 seconds. She said that the wedding was a simple one, just like she had wanted. Alia also said that she had lunch with Ranbir before getting in her wedding attire, and also shook hands with each other with the realisation that they will no longer be boyfriend and girlfriend.
