R&B Artist R Kelly Sentenced To 30 Years In Prison For Sexually Abusing Women, Minor Girls And Boys For Years
R&B artist R Kelly has been sentenced to 30 years in prison after being convicted for sexually abusing children and women. He was also embroiled in a high-profile sex trafficking case and was convicted on all nine counts of his crimes. The New York jury had proven him guilty of his crimes in September 2019.
As per reports, the hearing of this case took place on Wednesday, and his victims had gathered to confront him about his wrongdoings. Judge Ann Donnelly, who gave the verdict of the case, said that he took advantage of the victims’ ‘hopes and dreams’ and also had kept teenagers ‘trapped’ in his home. The judge also said that he beat and raped his victims and also forced them to do things ‘unspeakable’ in nature.

During the trial of the case, the prosecutors claimed that he has been abusing women, underage girls and boys for many years. It is also reported that he had an entourage who would grom his victims for sex and would also make arrangements so would travel across the US for concerts and other events. R Kelly, whose full name is Robert Sylvester Kelly, would keep his victims trapped in a room and would also control when they would eat and even use the washroom.

Reportedly, R kelly had also married an underage singer Aaliyah but her age on the official paperwork of the marriage was listed as 18 years. Months later, their marriage was annulled and Aaliyah also met a tragic fate as she passed away in a plane crash.
