‘Ranveer VS Wild’ Trailer: Ranveer Does Jungle Mein Mangal In His Typical Filmy Style, Pleads Us To Save Him

Ranveer Singh is all set to do jungle mein mangal with Bear Grylls in the upcoming interactive adventure show Ranveer VS Wild. After the teaser that was dropped on June 10, 2022, which gave us a sneak-peek into Ranveer’s jungle adventures, the trailer of the show was dropped on June 24. The trailer clip gave us a bit more detailed insight into what can we expect Ranveer Singh to do on the show.

Ranveer VS Wild Trailer

The clip begins with Ranveer talking about his stubbornness and how sometimes his stubbornness lands him in difficult situations. The audience will get to see him facing bears and wolves, passing through dark caves and going to great heights, quite literally, to get a flower that never dies for his ladylove Deepika Padukone! He also will have to cross valleys either via a mountaineering rope or via rappelling.

As to what Ranveer will eat on his journey, Bear Grylls is making him choose between eating fried maggots or a bear’s testicles. Yes, you have read that right! Ranveer is going to leave no holds barred on his adventure. But we have not liked the trailer and here’s why. Firstly, why is Ranveer hyping himself up so much? Isn’t he supposed to leave that for the audience? And secondly, what is with the sometimes cheesy and crass dialogues in between? The whole trailer looks so staged and is missing the original adventure feel. Also, the trailer looks like a full-fledged movie trailer.

The trailer was shared by Netflix India’s Instagram handle with the caption, “THIS IS NOT A DRILL. WE REPEAT, THIS IS NOT A DRILL. Ranveer’s life is now in YOUR hands!”
