Ranbir And Vaani Kapoor’s ‘Shamshera’ Special Pics Are How We Like Our Vada Pav And Chai In Monsoons. Ekdum Garam!
Ranbir Kapoor has been serving some fine and spicy looks, as he gears up for the release of his upcoming YRF film–Shamshera. In a series of pictures, posted on the production house’s official Instagram handle, the actor strikes a pose with his co-star Vaani Kapoor for a special photo shoot. In these new pictures, Ranbir dresses up in a casual white ganji, and black trousers by designer Uzair Parvez Khan with white sneakers finishing off the look. He further styled the look with a chain by label–Misho Designs.

Posing alongside Mr Kapoor is Vaani, who transformed from a black dress to a form-fitting body suit by Saaksha And Kinni. The statement piece came adorned with multiple mirror embellishments in shades of red and blue. She later teamed the fusion body suit with a pair of black shorts and printed tie-up heels. The actors were styled by celebrated celebrity stylist–Anaita Shroff Adajania and well, the results speak about her prowess.
Another picture of Vaani Kapoor features the actress in a full-blown bohemian avatar, that revisits the much-talked-about era of fringed pants. Vaani makes up for a minimal, yet chic look in fringed, ivory pants by designers Shantnu And Nikhil, as she further teams them with a white tank top, knotted around the waist. What also calls for our attention is Vaani’s choice of jewellery, which incorporates a set of chunky, metallic and oxidised bangles, with barely done hair and makeup, reflecting the effortless mood of summer.

Besides Vaani, Ranbir too revisits the old-worldly Bollywood rockstar charm, as he sports a white ganji and a signature locket chain, with messy hair, decorating his forehead. The pictures introduce us to their respective roles in the film–Balli and Sona, and we’d say these pictures are pure gold.

It seems like a busy year for the actor as he makes a comeback with a long list of his films heading for release this year. Yashraj Film’s Shamshera also stars actor Sanjay Dutt and is slated to release on July 22.
