Priyanka Chopra To Host Oscar Pre-Award Event Alongside South Asian Artists Such As Mindy Kaling, Kumail Nanjiani And More
While most of us are salty that Priyanka Chopra will not be seen presenting at the Oscars 2022, there is still something for us PeeCee fans to look forward to. Priyanka is involved with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for the pre-award event. She will be hosting the event alongside Mindy Kaling, Kumail Nanjiani and others. The pre-award event will also have Gulistan Mirzaei, Riz Ahmed and other stars.
The event is all set to take place in Beverly Hills on March 23. The event will showcase Priyanka Chopra alongside brilliant South Asian artists such as Mindy Kaling, Kumail Nanjiani, Maneesh K. Goyal, Bela Bajaria, Anjula Acharia, and Shruti Ganguly. She will be discussing South Asian excellence in movies. Additionally, Sushmit Ghosh, Anurima Bhargava and Rintu Thomas along with the writers of the acclaimed Indian documentary Writing With Fire, which has also been praised by Priyanka Chopra.

According to sources, artists such as Joseph Patel, Aneil Karia, Elizabeth Mirzaei, Choyning Dorji, Gulistan Mirzaei and Suroosh Alvi. With how vocal Priyanka has been regarding South Asian representation and her struggles with finding Hollywood roles that wouldn’t typecast her, it is amazing to see an event that will be honouring South Asian cinema.
