Indian Designer Prathyusha Garimella Loses Her Life To Depression, Body Found In Her Home
Depression takes another life. A well-known fashion designer Prathyusha Garimella was found dead in her Banjara Hills home on June 11, Saturday under unknown circumstances. The designer was only 35 years old. The reasons for the same have not been confirmed by the police yet, however, they suspect that it is a case of suicide. The police also reported having found a canister of carbon dioxide in her house which indicates that she died by suicide.

The police also found a suicide note at Prathyusha’s home which has been supposedly written by the designer. The news reports further revealed that in the suicide note Prathyusha expressed her dissatisfaction with life and said that she did not want to be a burden on anyone. The note further stated that she was in depression but did not share it with anyone. As per the news, Prathyusha left her house on Friday evening and when she returned, she told the watchman not to bother her. Her friends and colleagues expressed that they had no idea about Prathyusha’s depression as she displayed no signs of it. Banjara Hills police filed a case under Section 174 of the CrPC and shifted the body to Osmania hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Prathyusha Garimella was a famous name in the Tollywood and Bollywood industry. She studied fashion design at the University of Warwick before launching her own fashion label, Prathyusha Garimella, in 2013. The designer had worked with well-known celebrities like Madhuri Dixit, Juhi Chawla, Raveena Tandon, and Shamita Shetty. She also clothed Tollywood celebrities like Niharika Konidela and Upasana Konidela.

We lost another talent to mental depression. It is indeed an unbearable loss for the family and we hope they get the strength to bear it.
