Pooja Hegde has charmed us all with her red carpet looks at Cannes this year. Her strapless pink gown with a feather skirt makes her look gorgeous. However, what we do not get to see is all the hard work that goes into achieving the perfect look. Also, there are quite a few mishaps that happen. Pooja Hegde has revealed her and her team’s struggle in making the looks on the Cannes red carpet possible. Shockingly, the actor lost her luggage before the Cannes film festival. So technically the dresses she has worn were put together at the very last moment. Great work, team Pooja Hegde!

In an interview with Film Companion, Pooja revealed that one of her suitcases got left behind in her car in India, while another was lost in Paris, where she had a connecting flight. The actor stated that she and her team worked even when they were hungry to ensure that she was ready for her film festival appearances.

Their ordeal wasn’t limited to just the outfits though! Pooja further said that they also lost all the makeup and hair products, and ultimately had to purchase them. The actor expressed relief saying that thankfully she had hand-carried a couple of genuine Indian jewellery pieces with her. Pooja said that she and her team did not even have time to cry over all the mess, since there was no time.

Pooja Hegde further called herself a fighter and stated that they managed to get through the disaster and everything turned out beautifully on the red carpet.
The actor did not forget to mention her team’s hard work and applauded them on the job. She revealed that her hairstylist suffered food poisoning, regardless of which he managed to do Pooja’s hairstyle.
Pooja was part of an 11-member Indian delegation to Cannes 2022, as the country was named the ‘Country of Honour’ at the ongoing film festival. And she totally slayed on the red carpet! What is a star without her team, right?
