In Lock Upp season 1, Payal Rohatgi poured her heart about not being able to conceive and believes that this is one of the reasons why her marriage with longtime boyfriend Sangram Singh is getting delayed. However, there’s good news from the couple – the two lovebirds have finally made an announcement about their wedding date! The reality show couple has been dating for 12 years and their relationship has just gotten stronger. Sangram Singh took to social media that he and Payal Rohatgi will finally be tying the knot on July 21.

Payal Rohatgi and Sangram Singh will be tying the knot on July 21, which also happens to be the birthdate of the soon-to-be groom. Sharing the post on his Instagram, the wrestler wrote, “Coming this July… Where we get to say the vows!!! And be wedding-bound!❤️ Love Sangram & Payal”.

As per reports, Payal Rohatgi and Sangram are already done with their pre-wedding shoot and will start their wedding shopping soon. The couple’s wedding outfit will be styled by Study by Janak – a Delhi-based brand – the same brand that styled them for their pre-wedding shoot.

Confirming the news of his wedding with Payal Rohatgi, Sangram Singh, “I’m extremely happy. We’ve been with each other for 12 years. It was time we take our relationship ahead and get married. Even our parents have wanted us to get married for a long time. And we have been trying to get done with this, but something or the other kept happening. After spending much time with Payal, I don’t think I can find a better girl than her. I don’t think she’ll find a better man than me (laughs). She is extremely genuine. I believe marriage is just a thapa that is needed for society, but I think it is important, especially for a girl’s respect. I also believe that just giving roses to your partner isn’t love, giving them respect is more important. And when you have that mutual respect and your souls connect, you know it’s time to get married.”

The wrestler also added that he and Payal Rohatgi will have a simple wedding and will take place in a temple as per the rituals of the Arya Samaj. Sangram Singh further revealed that they are still figuring out a wedding destination – Gujarat or Haryana. They will also have all the pre-wedding rituals like haldi and mehendi.
