‘Pavitra Rishta’ Season 2 Trailer: Ankita Lokhande And Shaheer Sheikh Have Us Feeling All Mushy Inside!
I must accept that I have one guilty pleasure – Indian TV soaps. I love binge-watching my mom’s favourite TV serial every now and then and it’s almost always followed by a long gossip session with her about the story and the characters. And mind you, I always, always google search some spoilers of the serial. If there’s one show that I love more than Anupamaa, it’s got to be Pavitra Rishta. I have never been able to get over the iconic Jodi of Manav and Archana. This TV serial literally made Ankita Lokhande and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput household names. Last year, Manav and Archana made a comeback with Pavitra Rishta 2.0 on OTT platforms Zee5 and ALTBalaji. And now season 2 of Pavitra Rishta 2.0 is set to premiere on the OTT platforms on 28th January.
As much as I miss the OG Manav and Archana, Shaheer Sheikh managed to effortlessly fit into Manav’s character while Ankita Lokhande reprised the role of Archana in the sequel. Ever since I’ve watched Pavitra Rishta 2.0, I cannot help but wait for the next season of the show and it seems like the wait is finally over. Taking to Instagram, Ankita Lokhande shared the trailer of season 2 of Pavitra Rishta 2.0 and it has me feeling warm and gooey.

The makers had ended the first season of Pavitra Rishta 2.0 at a cliffhanger where Manav and Archana’s marriage had come to an end. The upcoming season 2 of the show picks up right where it left and goes on to explore the complexity of Manav and Archana’s marriage and their love for each other as they cross paths again. Shaheer Sheikh and Ankita Lokhande look very convincing and I have to add – I CANNOT wait to watch them recreate the magic as Manav and Archana once again.
