Netflix Unveils ‘Money Heist: Korea’ Teaser Featuring Yoo Ji-tae And Park Hae-soo. We’re Can’t Wait To Watch It!

If you like binge-watching web series all day, there’s no chance you haven’t heard of Money Heist. Created by Alex Pina, Money Heist aka La Casa de Papel is a popular Spanish heist crime drama series streaming on Netflix. The story of the show revolves around a mysterious Professor (Alvaro Morte) who recruits eight people with city names as their aliases. They plan two heists at the Royal Mint of Spain and Bank of Spain. The series with 5 seasons is narrated by one of the robbers named Tokyo (Ursula Corbero). The series is set in Madrid. The audience loves the series for its amazing plot, mind-bending twists and turns, exceptional drama, and direction. While we were planning an Indian adaptation of Money Heist and talking about the cast, the Koreans took the lead and already filmed Korean Money Heist. Recently, Netflix released the first teaser of Money Heist: Korea featuring actors Yoo Ji-tae and Park Hae-soo. TBH, the teaser has us jumping in joy to watch the Korean version of the popular series. 


On 18 January, Netflix unveiled the teaser of the Korean adaptation of the series titled Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area. The teaser begins by introducing the mastermind, who is possibly planning a heist in a dark room. And get this – Yoo Ji-tae will portray the role of the Professor in the series.

The Korean adaptation of the series stars Squid Game fame Park Hae-soo as Berlin, Jun Jong-seo as Tokyo, Lee Won-jung as Moscow, Kim Ji-hun as Denver, Jang Yoon-ju as Nairobi, Lee Hyun-woo as Rio, Kim Ji-hoo as Helsinki and Lee Kyu-ho as Oslo. The series also features Kim Yunjin as Seon Woojin and Kim Sung O as Cha Moohyuk, who are a part of the Task Force team.

According to media reports, the Korean adaptation of the show titled Money Heist: Korea-Joint Economic Area has a total of 12 episodes. The series is directed by Kim Hong Sun and produced by BH Entertainment + Contents Zium. It is expected to release in 2022.
