‘Modern Love: Mumbai’ Trailer: An Anthology That Promises To Show Real Human Love Stories Regardless Of Gender, Age And Race

One of the lines from SATC that stay in my head rent free is when Carrie is interviewing Louise to be her PA. She asks Louise, “Why’d you move to New York?” and she honestly answers, “to fall in love”. I think about her response, especially since I come from the big city of dreams – Mumbai. There is a lot to hate and love about this place and as polarising as it can be, you can’t help but become a part of this city. Hence, the trailer of Modern Love: Mumbai that Amazon Prime released a while back caught my attention. The show is the Mumbai chapter of the anthology series, Modern Love.

I have always enjoyed human stories such as Unpaused which tell realistic everyday stories of people like you and I. Such characters make me feel normal, as if the things I struggle with are not so taboo after all and I hope this series makes me feel similarly.

Modern Love: Mumbai will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Videos from May 13, 2022.
