The designer has also entered the world of acting and she is nailing in that field equally. Till now the designer has only explored the OTT platform with her shows Masaba Masaba and Modern Love: Mumbai which was loved by the audience. However, in a recent interview, she talked about her plans of entering films and also her idea of acting and OTT.

Masaba Gupta is awaiting her next release which is the second season of Masaba Masaba. In an interview, the designer shared her ideas of getting validation as an actor and her plans on doing films. According to Masaba, the acting style in the industry is over-the-top as compared to the OTT platforms in which refined performances and acting style is appreciated more. Shedding light on the same, Masaba Gupta asserted that she is rather keen on doing more projects for the OTT. As per the report, Masaba Gupta while particularly talking about her plans as an actor for the big screen, took a jibe at the Bollywood industry and said that they only cast the 10 people that they have always been casting. Masaba further added that she is already an established designer so unless she is absolutely sure about her acting career, she would not take up any films. In fact, the designer also revealed that she was unsure whether her subtle acting would ever be appreciated but the OTT gave her a chance.

Well, she has definitely won the hearts of the audience as an actor as well. Her upcoming release Masaba Masaba, directed by Sonam Nair is all set to release on July 29.
