‘KWK’ Episode 8: Shahid Kapoor Talks About His Marriage With Mira Rajput, And Kiara Is Their Biggest Shipper!

Well, this is the biggest takeaway about weddings from the recent episode of Koffee With Karan Season 7. The on-screen jodi that had created a blockbuster at the box office graced the couch for the eighth episode of this chat show. Guesses aside, they were Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani AKA Kabir and Preeti. From Shahid Kapoor’s beautiful marriage with Mira Rajput to Kiara’s wedding plans, Karan Johar managed to talk about everything. In this episode, Shahid talked about his arranged marriage with Mira and also had the most adorable words to appreciate Mira’s presence in his life as a partner.

The latest episode of Koffee With Karan which dropped on August 25, was a lot about marriage too. Karan Johar started about this topic first of course with a more experience person in this institution and that was Shahid. The Koffee host, started by first asking Shahid Kapoor about his experience of marrying Mira Rajput, a girl who was in no way related to the Bollywood fraternity. Shahid’s answer to this was so well-framed and clear. He started by first mentioning that he had two different personalities, one for the more “glamour and glitz” and the other who is an introvert, a vegetarian, and a non-drinker. The Kabir Singh actor further went on to say that he always wanted someone who could understand both his sides which was difficult. Talking further about it, Shahid said that he met Mira through family and friends just when he was ready to settle down. He called it the “best thing” that has happened in his life. Aww! Shahid also appreciated Mira Rajput for bringing “balance” to his life. Karan Johar also asked Shahid if he too pushed Mira to make her career and has encouraged her in those terms. In response to this Shahid, honestly put forth his answer and said that he has always had a very protective side for Mira. He shares that since Mira was quite young when they got married whereas Shahid already had some experience, and therefore he always used to look out for her.

Here, even Kiara Advani has some compliments for Mira Kapoor. She said that Mira has always been a confident girl. Kiara further said that when Shahid and Mira had appeared on the couch together, the latter was really comfortable and confident, to which Shahid Kapoor also agreed. Kiara Advani even said that Mira brings a lot of “stability” to Shahid Kapoor’s life. Yes, Kiara was the biggest shipper of the two’s relationship for sure. The most fun side of Mira and Shahid’s relationship was when the latter revealed that their stupidest fights happen over the speed of “fans”,
