Couples have all kinds of bonding and romance rituals. We all have different love languages and we often hear about couples with weird kinks, habits and bonding rituals. A few months ago Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly took the internet by storm after they revealed that they drink each other’s blood for a ritual purpose. And if that wasn’t enough, there’s yet another celeb couple that has revealed their bonding ritual that has us cringing. In a recent interview, Kim Kardashian shared that she and her boyfriend, comedian Pete Davidson bond over injecting their pimples together. NGL, I’m kinda disgusted.
In a recent appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, Kim Kardashian shared that skincare is a major part of her bonding ritual with Pete Davidson. When asked if Pete gave her any input on her skincare line SKNN BY KIM, the reality TV star revealed that skincare is one of their “major bonding things” while adding that they go to the dermatologist together and even inject their pimples together at the same time. She even shared that their dermatologist also gets amused that she and Pete get pimples at the same time. Kim went on to add that once Pete put medicine on her pimple after she forgot to do it before she fell asleep and she woke up with dried pimple medicine on her face. She also called him a “gentleman”. Well, okay then. Kim also credited her ex-husband Kanye West for playing a major role in the launch of her skincare line. She shared that he came up with the brand name, packaging and visual identity.

For the uninitiated, injecting pimples is just like popping them except that in this case cortisone is injected into the affected area which starts to reduce the inflammation immediately and kickstart the process of deep-tissue healing of acne-affected areas. In other words, Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian bond over pimple popping, not very romantic. Guess, we got some bizarre bonding rituals to tick off our bucket list now.
