Karan Mehra Files Defamation Suit Against Ex-Wife Nisha Rawal’s Friends Rohit Sathia, Munisha Khatwani & Rohit Verma
Nisha Rawal and Karan Mehra controversy started in 2021 when the former held a press conference to accuse her ex-husband Karan of domestic violence. Nisha also filed a complaint against Karan Mehra. However, Karan had not issued his side of the statement during that time and has now come out to speak on the whole matter. The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame actor held a press conference in the city on August 4, Thursday. During this conference, Karan also revealed that he has filed a defamation case against Nisha Rawal’s friends Rohit Sathia, Munisha Khatwani & Rohit Verma.

As per the media reports, Karan Mehra opened up about many things during this press conference. Reportedly, he also stated that his wife had an extramarital affair with Rohit Sathia. Further talking on the same Mehra said that the situation for him has become worse since he is not even allowed to visit his own home. Shedding light on the defamation suit, Karan stated that Nisha Rawal’s friends specifically Rohit Sathia, Munisha Khatwani & Rohit Verma had tried to paint a false picture of Karan’s character on several occasions that too on public platforms. As per the actor’s justification for the defamation case, he said that after Nisha’s press conference her friends went to great lengths to spoil his name and this is not permissible by the law.

As per the report, Karan also talked about his wife’s extramarital status and how her friend Rohit Verma reacted to it. Karan stated that Rohit extended his apologies when this truth came to light. The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor also said that new evidence has been presented by his lawyer in court that will prove the wrongs done to him by Nisha and his friends.
