On ‘Lock Upp’, Kangana Ranaut Reveals She Was Sexually Abused As A Child By A Boy
You know, it’s sad to know that a lot of people have faced some kind of harassment as a kid. And the most horrible part is that such cases don’t get reported because children think is their fault or something is wrong with them. Recently, Kangana Ranaut opened up about being inappropriately touched as a child by a boy after Munawar Faruqui revealed that he was sexually abused as a child on Lock Upp. This is so sad!

In the latest promo of the show, Munawar Faruqui saves Saisha Shinde and reveals his secret. He tells the host that he was sexually assaulted by his relatives when he was 6 to 7 years old and it continued for nearly 5 years. After that, Kangana Ranaut mentions that many kids face harassment but the topic is rarely discussed in the public and also shared her experience. The Thalaivi actress said she was inappropriately touched by a boy when she was a kid. “This has been experienced by many including me. In my town, I was quite small but a boy, a few years older than me, used to inappropriately touch me. But I didn’t know back then what it means,” she said.

Kangana Ranaut went on to share another incident and said that a boy older than her used to call kids to check their bodies after removing their clothes. She also added that many people get scarred for life after experiencing such harassment at a young age and face many issues. The Queen actress said that they are using the platform to create awareness about child abuse and sexual abuse by sharing their experiences.
