Johnny Depp’s Spokesperson Has Finally Revealed The Truth About Him Returning To ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean’ Franchise
Disney had fired Johnny Depp from the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise after Amber Heard had levied domestic abuse allegations against him. Depp had to let go of one of his most iconic roles of Jack Sparrow after Heard wrote an op-ed in The Washington Times and wrote that she was an abuse survivor. Now, the rumour mill has been churning reports of Johnny returning to reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow after the verdict of the defamation case tipped a bit in his favour. His fans had gotten extremely excited when they heard the rumours but Depp’s representative has finally cleared the air about the same.
Johnny Depp To Return As Jack Sparrow
Rumours about Depp’s return were rife as reports of Disney paying a humungous amount of $301 million began doing rounds. As per a report by Hindustan Times, Johnny’s representative spoke to NBC to shut down these rumours. They said that this is all ‘made up’ and that he will not be returning to the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise.

During the defamation trial, Johnny’s lawyer told Amber Heard’s lawyer that ‘nothing’ could make Depp reprise the role of Jack Sparrow. He had gone on to say that not even ‘$300 million and a million alpacas’ could make him return to that role. Johnny had also given his affirmation to the same and said that this was ‘true’.
