And in fact, this one fan of the film shared a unique and rare fan theory of a scene featuring Ved, played by Ranbir Kapoor, and Tara, played by Deepika Padukone, in it which created quite a buzz online. The user shared the fan theory under the comments section of the song ‘Agar Tum Saath Ho’ from the film and it instantly gained a lot of attention.
Highlighting the contrast between Ranbir Kapoor’s character Ved and Deepika Padukone’s character Tara, the fan wrote, “If you notice carefully, Ranbir is dressed in the colour of brain, while Deepika is dressed in red, colour associated with the heart…beautiful picturisation of constant tussle between brain and heart!”

The comment went viral on Instagram, and the fan even got trolled by some users for twisting the scene and creating some sense out of it which was not needed. But soon the tables turned for good when Imtiaz Ali himself responded to this theory and confirmed it. Sharing an Instagram story he wrote, “Hey, we did think Tara should wear heart while Ved be colourless.. so not so random overthink from you,” with the picture of the fan theory. It sure would have made the fan’s day or even the whole year.
