‘The Great Indian Murder’ Trailer: This Richa Chadha, Pratik Gandhi Starrer Might Satiate Your Hunger For Murder Mysteries!
I absolutely love murder mysteries. They’re so thrilling and keep you hooked till the end. There’s nothing better than a classic whodunnit! And having consumed a large variety of mystery content, I can confidently say that it’s the most satisfying thing to watch. TBH, investigation and finding the killer is more fun than the end result. More so because watching all those murder mysteries has made it easier for me to figure out who the killer is but I’m always up for a new challenge. And Disney+ Hotstar’s upcoming thriller The Great Indian Murder is just what I need. This thriller series produced by Ajay Devgn and Priti Vinay Sinha and directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia is based on author Vikas Swarup’s bestselling novel ‘Six Suspects’. The star cast includes some big names like Richa Chadha, Pratik Gandhi, Ashutosh Rana, Shashank Arora, Paoli Dam, Raghubir Yadav, Amey Wagh and Jatin Goswami. The Great Indian Murder follows the story of two cops played by Pratik Gandhi and Richa Chadha, as they solve the high profile murder of Vicky Rai. The show will stream on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar on 4th February in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Bengali. This Hotstar special tells the classic tale of crime, politics and vengeance with an interesting twist. This riveting story is about the murder of the son of a politician and owner of Rai Group of Industries, Vicky Rai. The 32-year-old business tycoon is murdered at a party thrown by him to celebrate his acquittal in a rape and murder case. CBI officers Sudha Bhardwaj (Richa Chadha) and Suraj Yadav (Pratik Gandhi) try to find Vicky Rai’s killer among the six murder suspects that come under their radar. According to media reports, Vikas Swarup’s book is loosely based on the murder of Jessica Lal. Vicky Rai’s character is reportedly based on Jessica’s murdered Manu Sharma.

Well, I just have one question – who killed Vicky Rai? I can’t wait to find out the answer to this question. But the real question is – will The Great Indian Murder satiate my hunger for murder mysteries and tick all the boxes? Guess, I’ll just find out when it releases on Disney+ Hotstar on 4th February.
