Harry Potter Reunion: Dramione Shippers Can’t Stop Gushing About Emma Watson And Tom Felton

Harry Potter Reunion: Dramione Shippers Can’t Stop Gushing About Emma Watson And Tom Felton

I grew up with a very strong connection to the world of fiction. Be it listening to my grandma telling me a bedtime story or reading YA novels as a teen, I have always enjoyed and preferred the world of fantasy over reality. That’s why Harry Potter was a huge part of my life when I was younger and to a great extent, still is. So you can imagine my excitement when I heard that HBO Max was going to release Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return To Hogwarts. And as I watched all the cast and characters who I grew up with and made my life a more magical place, I somehow ended up shipping Emma Watson and Tom Felton together; clearly, I wasn’t the only one.

The 20th anniversary special featured the cast and crew at the old locations and setting, reminiscing and talking about the memories they have made there. Emma Watson admitted to having a huge crush on co-star Tom Felton when they were working together. And I am getting all the feels!

Emma Watson even remembers the exact moment when she fell in love with Tom Felton. “I walked into the room where we were having tutoring. The assignment that had been given was to draw what you thought God looked like and Tom had drawn a girl with a backward cap on a skateboard. And I just don’t know how to say it – I just fell in love with him,” she said, “I used to come in every day and look for his number on the call sheet. It was number seven, and if his name was on the call sheet, it was an extra exciting day.” Ah, young love!

Dramione shippers have taken to social media and started shipping Emma and Tom. And can we blame them?!

So my little romantic of a heart cannot help but gush over Emma Watson and Tom Felton. While I understand that they are adults and might have grown out of that whole phase, there is a certain beauty about childhood crushes that cannot be denied.
