‘Ghar Waapsi’ Trailer: A Jobless Son’s Homecoming Is All Set To Hit Us In The Feels
I have my dreams to fulfill, and since those could not be achieved in the town where I belong, I chose to move out to live in a metropolitan city. To make a life away from home and family in a city that never sleeps is honestly very difficult. But at the same time, what gives me relief is that I have a job with which I can at least make my ends meet. There is always emotional baggage of missing family that people like me carry, but no matter what we still get up and get going. And those short vacations at home become all the more special and precious. However, never in the worst of my dreams have I ever thought about how will my life be if all of a sudden I lose my job and stop earning. Will I be at peace still when I return home? I came across the trailer of Ghar Waapsi, and the thought of it actually struck me. It is a story about a jobless man who returns home after two years but is things still the same for him? The trailer has already given me a lot to think about. Ghar Waapsi is a new show by Dice Media, that will stream on the OTT platform Disney plus Hotstar. It features Vishal Vashishtha in the lead role, along with Atul Srivastava, Vibha Chibber, Anushka Kaushik, Akansha Thakur, and Saad Bilgrami.

Ghar Waapis trailer was released on July 11. It is a story about a middle-class boy who returns to his home- town Indore after working for two years in Bengaluru. The trailer starts with a happy homecoming of the son by the parents, of course, because he has returned after such a long time. The story also deals with the emotions that the main character played by Vishal Vashishtha will go through seeing all the changes in his hometown. However, the mood of the story completely changes when the family gets to know that their son no more has a job back in Bengaluru. Ghar Waapsi looks like a promising story that will be an emotional rollercoaster ride for Vishal Vashistha’s character as well as for all the audience who will find the plot relatable. The self-contemplation journey that the lead character will go through in terms of realising his priorities, worth of family and friends and his own conflicting emotions shall make for a bittersweet watch.
The trailer has been edited perfectly to give you glimpses of all the drama, emotions, struggles, and reality that the characters will deal it. The dialogues from the trailer seem to be very simple, which I actually think will make the experience of watching this show more engaging.
