Esther Acebo Aka Stockholm From ‘Money Heist’ Goes Viral After Fans Spot Lord Ganesha’s Painting In Her House

If there is one thing that I have noticed about Indians, is that we love it when celebs from around the world indulge in anything that is Indian. It fills us up with pride and so much happiness, especially when that celebrity is from a movie/series that we’ve obsessed over for ages. In fact, this thought occurred to me when I saw how viral Esther Acebo aka Stockholm from Money Heist went after a fan spotted a painting of the Hindu deity Lord Ganesha in her home. Yep, that actually happened.

Esther Acebo who became famous worldwide for playing Mónica Gaztambide aka Stockholm in the hit Netflix series La Casa De Papel aka Money Heist went viral on social media after a fan on Instagram shared a picture of the actress standing in front of a painting of Lord Ganesha.

In the Instagram post, the user claimed that he saw the painting of the Hindu deity in one of her videos and that it was hanging on the wall of her home. From the screenshot, the user shared it seems as though it was taken during one of the live sessions that Esther Acebo held.

Needless to say, seeing Esther Abeco standing ahead of Lord Ganesha’s painting has created quite the stir amongst the Money Heist fans in India and also has filled them with a lot of pride. In fact, this is not the first time that a cast member of Money Heist has won the hearts of Indians. As per SpotBoye, Money Heist’s Inspector Raquel Murillo had impressed Indians with her own rendition of the 90’s track ‘Chunari Chunari’ ft. Salman Khan and Sushmita Sen.

Now, we don’t know whether the image is manipulated or not, nor has Esther Acebo aka Stockholm from Money Heist has ever openly spoken about her faith in the Hindu religion or Lord Ganesha, but one can only guess the excitement that is bubbling within the Indian fans of the recently concluded Netflix series.
