You know, I am a book nerd and I love reading books written by women because they are realistic and relatable as well. And if we are talking about great women authors, we have to mention Emily Brontë and you will be glad to know that Emma Mackey is portraying the role of the famous poet-author in Frances O’Connor’s Emily. The first trailer of the film dropped today and it gives a glimpse of Emily Brontë’s life and how she found her voice to write Wuthering Heights

On Thursday, Warner Bros released the first trailer of their upcoming biographical film Emily starring Emma Mackey as the rebellious, misfit, genius, and one of the world’s most famous authors, Emily Brontë. The trailer gives a glimpse of the famous author’s life and how she wrote the classic novel Wuthering Heights. It also explores the relationships that inspired her to write the literary classic. Emma Mackey as Emily is just *chef’s kiss, she knows how to portray a particular character perfectly and it’s one of the many reasons why she is our favourite actor. The makers made a perfect decision by casting her for this iconic role and we can’t wait to see more.
