Emily Ratajkowski,Brad Pitt’s Rumoured Girlfriend, Bashes “Blonde” For Fetishizing Female Pain

Making a biographical movie comes with a lot of responsibilities since you are all set to show the life of some loved personality to the audience. In this process, makers take some creative freedom too and the final product is proof of how well that goes. The recent, fictional biography of the famous Marilyn Monroe, Blonde, is surrounded by a lot of criticisms for the aspect of the actress’s life that director, Andrew Dominik chose to bring into the spotlight. In this list of critics, Emily Ratajkowski, the rumoured girlfriend of Brad Pitt, also joined recently. BTW, Brad Pitt is the producer of the movie Blonde. Emily has bashed the movie, saying the makers had some obsession with showing a woman’s pain in their portrayal of Monroe’s life.

Emily Ratajkowski through her Tik Tok video put forth her opinions on Blonde. Talking about it, Emily said that the movie is a clear representation of how the creators have a fetish for female pain, and she was not even surprised. Emily further went on to say that she has known how to fetish her own pain and hurt, and therefore she gets this kind of perspective for the film as well. The model also pointed out that this obsession is more with women who are in the “public eye” particularly mentioning personalities like Amy Winehouse, and Princess Diana among others. Emily also had a request for all the ladies, in which she wants women to “fetishize” the most difficult thing: Anger. All hyped up about it, Emily went on to say that the women should be in their “b***h era”. Although Emily has not seen the movie yet, her perspectives came in view of all the discussions and comment she heard about Blonde.

Well, we can partially agree with what Emily is trying to say here because the movie does deal with the painful life experiences of  Marilyn Monroe and Andrew Dominik focused to show more of it in the movie, obsession might not be. Although, the makers could have tried to explore more about how Monroe was as a person and celebrity.
