‘Drishyam 2’ Trailer: 7 Years Later, Ajay Devgn’s Vijay Salgaonkar Must Save His Family Once Again
Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam is one of the highly talked about films of the actor’s career. The audience showered heaps of praises on him for such a stellar portrayal of Vijay Salgaonkar. Not just Ajay and Tabu’s performance, people immensely loved the entire cast for bringing the characters and their fears alive on the screen. Uff, you cannot forget the edge-of-the-seat thrilling plot, can you? It wasn’t just Vijay’s family who was biting nails in the fear of being arrested by the police, I was us as well! Now, after waiting too much, the trailer of Drishyam 2 has dropped!

The two-minute-24-second trailer shows that the police are already sniffing around and reopening Vijay Salgaonkar’s case. After Drishyam 1 showed him hiding Sam’s body right below an under-construction police station’s land, they were expecting that the case will remain closed! But with a new police inspector, who is played by Akshaye Khanna, leading the case, it looks like the police will be digging up old graves, quite literally!

Akshaye is relentless in his investigation. And Tabu is also hell-bent on not underestimating a fourth-grade failed student Vijay anymore. Old police officers who were on the case, then, are also called in to interrogate and asked to replay the entire course of events all over again. Just as we thought that Vijay had convincingly fooled the police and that the dark truth will never see the light of day, the trailer of the second part makes us think otherwise.
From the trailer clip itself, it looks like the noose is now tightening around Vijay’s neck. And this time, Tabu, too, will leave no stone unturned in getting to the bottom of this case and know how and when Vijay killed her son. But the trailer ended with Vijay looking into the camera and saying that he has a confession to make. Will he reveal the truth and undo months of work and put his family in danger? That looks quite uncharacteristic of him, na?
