‘Dhaakad’ Teaser: Kangana Ranaut Blows You Away With Her Badass Avatar, Action Gives Kaafi ‘Black Widow’ Vibes
Out of all the criticism I have always had for Bollywood (and trust me, there is a lot) one of the biggest ones is the fact that we lack women in good action roles. For the most part, it is male characters who are involved in all the action while the woman is simply in the sidelines, helpless. There have been certain movies that have had badass women who know how to fight but unlike a lot of male-centric movies, they are the side characters who have a bit of screen time. Hence, I was looking forward to getting at least a glimpse of Dhaakad and featuring Kangana Ranaut, Arjun Rampal, Diya Dutta, Saswata Chatterjee, Sharib Hashmi and more. The movie directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai has just dropped its teaser and trust me, it isn’t for the faint-hearted.

Kangana Ranaut is back in the news but not for anything controversial but because of the release of the teaser of her highly anticipated female-centric action movie, Dhaakad. The teaser shows Kangana in a never before seen avatar. She is seen in multiple disguises and wigs throughout the Dhaakad teaser and the fight scenes are gory and very graphic. Viewers’ discretion is truly adviced. Kangana is supposed to play a spy who is on an action-filled adventure in a quest to nab and eliminate an international arms trafficker.

The teaser of Dhaakad seems to be intriguing. I am one for good action and fight scenes and love gore so the teaser really has me hooked and I cannot wait for the trailer.
Dhaakad will release in theatres on May 20, 2022.
