Peeps! I have some really really good news. After 5 excruciatingly long years, the much-awaited Brahmāstra starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor has finally wrapped its shooting. Even I took a sigh of relief that after waiting for years and seeing the motion posters drop, we finally are closer to Ayan Mukerji’s passion project’s release. Sharing the good news with her fans and followers, the Dear Zindagi actor took to social media and announced that its final shooting schedule in Kashi has finally wrapped and Brahmāstra is now all set to have a theatrical release this September!

Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram to announce that Aryan Mukerji’s directorial, Brahmāstra, has finally wrapped up its final shooting schedule in Kashi, India’s spiritual capital. The fantasy drama also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni and is produced by Fox Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures.

Brahmāstra is a dream project of Ayan Mukerji so it really is no wonder that he wants every aspect of it to be perfect. The sci-fi is an upcoming superhero film that is a part of the three-part franchise and it ventures into India’s first original universe – the Astraverse.
