5 Times Birthday Girl Taylor Swift Perfectly Captured Our Feelings In Her Songs

Taylor Swift is undoubtedly one of the most popular singers in the world right now. She is a pop icon and has earned multiple Grammys for her iconic songs ranging from country-style ballads, pop, rock, electronic and indie folk. Born in Pennsylvania, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee when she was 14 to pursue a career in country music. She released her debut studio album in 2006, and now look how far she’s come! Today, as Taylor celebrates her 32nd birthday, we thought it would be perfect to remember all the times she captured our inner feelings perfectly about love, heartbreak, and even moving on, in her songs!

Here is the list of 5 songs by Taylor Swift that perfectly captures our feelings and we will never stop playing it over and over again.

1. Willow – Evermore

The song Willow is the lead single from her album Evermore. It perfectly explains love and romance by creating a story of two lovers meeting again and again until there is no boundary to stop them. Taylor explained the meaning of the song as wanting someone, the start of falling in love. The song explains the complexity of love which ends on a happy note.

2. Look What You Made Me Do

Taylor may forgive her haters but she never forgets them and channels her feelings into creating a perfect diss track. Her single Look What You Made Me Do is about revenge where she buries her younger self who is sweet and naive and gets reincarnated as a new Taylor Swift who believes in getting even. This song makes us want to stand up to people we don’t like, and is empowering AF!

3. The Man

The Man is about sexist double standards in society which include objectification and sexualization of women, toxic masculinity and patriarchy. In this song, Taylor Swift transforms herself into a man to show how men are treated differently in our society, and how the very things that are considered to make them great leaders are qualities that make a woman a bitch and mean! Sigh, a tune we know so well!

4. All Too Well

We cannot stop crying since Taylor re-released the 10-minute version of this song. The song All Too Well explains the downfall of a relationship that was one-sided from the start.  The song is about  Swift’s most brutal heartbreak ever and we can feel our heart breaking every time we listen to this song. And we still hate Jake Gyllenhaal for missing her 21st birthday and keeping the red scarf, okay!
