‘Bhediya’ Trailer: Varun And Kriti Starrer Horror Comedy Looks Promising On The Graphics And Comic Timing
There are many Hollywood films that you might have watched on werewolves. I mean, most of them are horrifying and they have given us a basic idea about what werewolves are. So we are quite well prepared with this because as you should be knowing that even Bollywood is now stepping into this genre, with the movie Bhediya. A few days back, a teaser video of the movie was released and it did give me goosebumps, especially because of the title track. I am really looking forward to the movie, and we finally have got a trailer. Bhediya is a horror-comedy that features Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles, directed by Amar Kaushik and is produced by Dinesh Vijan. And, here are my thoughts on it-

When the Bhediya teaser was released, it looked gruesome, dark, and thrilling but I guess, it was just too early to decide about it. The trailer has given me a whole new perspective on it actually. The Bhediya trailer that released on October 19, Wednesday, is almost a three-minute glimpse of what will we sign up for. The trailer starts by telling you that Varun Dhawan’s character, Bhaskar has been bit by a wolf, and he is questioning the reason behind this. Kriti Sanon in the role of doctor treats Varun’s character as actually shocked by the way the wolf has attacked him. Along with these two characters, Deepak Dobriyal, and Abhishek Banerjee will also be seen in pivotal roles. As the trailer progresses, we are taken through different events that happen in Bhasker’s life with all the bodily changes as a Bhediya. There are subtle comic scenes, in fact, the whole point of Bhasker turning into a bhediya, eating, and running like it, has been shown from a comic perspective. Although, towards the end of the trailer, we do get to see some intense scenes in which Varun Dhawan’s bhediya character takes over him. We can anticipate some action in the movie too.

Okay, so the first doubt that I have about this movie is that I am really not sure, how comfortable the audience will be looking at the story of a werewolf in the comedy genre. From the trailer, we can assume that there will be more comedy in the movie compared to the thrilling or intense parts, and this is completely opposite to what we expected from the teaser. The scenes where Bhasker changes into Bhediya look promising, also the comic timings in the film seem to be good. Another aspect is the graphics in this movie, which I am really looking forward to, especially the forest scenes, and Varun’s look as Bhediya has convinced me that it will not be disappointing. So let’s wait and see, if Bhediya will scare us or make us laugh till our stomach aches, and this movie comes out on November 25, 2022. You can watch the trailer here-
