Anushka Sharma Calls Out A Publication For Posting Images Of Daughter Vamika. Why Is It So Hard To Respect Privacy?
It goes without saying that celebrities and their kids are always in the public’s eye and the paparazzi never leave a chance of clicking them. However, there is a certain level of respect that every publication house should have for a celebrity’s repeated requests. In this case, it is Anushka Sharma. The actor has previously put out statements requesting the paparazzi and media houses to not post pictures of her daughter Vamika and that she would really appreciate it. However, in a recent case, one of the publications not paying much heed to the request released Vamika’s picture on their social media handle, and Anushka Sharma has reacted very furiously to it.

On Tuesday, the publication had posted the picture of Vamika, which has now been deleted. Anushka Sharma angrily commented on the now-deleted post. She wrote that it seems that the Times Group knows what is better for the kids than the parents themselves. Further elaborating on the same, Anushka said that even after repeated requests for not clicking or posting any images of Vamika, the publication could not refrain from doing so. She also asked the publication house to learn from other paparazzi and media.

Previously, when Anushka Sharma and Vamika were clicked during a cricket match, Anushka had released a statement saying that they were caught off-guard and did not know that they were on camera. The pics were immediately put down from all social media platforms.

Anushka Sharma is a celebrity but she has constantly made this request as a mother. She simply does not want her daughter’s picture to be anywhere on social media and I do not see what is wrong with that. This topic might be debatable for many, however, I personally think that it is just not a difficult task for the media houses to refrain themselves from circulating a kid’s picture. Where some celebrities are fine with their kids getting media attention, and some are not. Both the cases should be equally respected by the media and they should act accordingly.
