Ana de Armas Teases Fans With BTS Pics Of ‘Blonde’ And She Looks More Like Marilyn Monroe With Every Pic
On June 16, Ana de Armas took my breath away in the best way possible. It was the day when the teaser of Blonde had dropped and seeing the actor play the Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe was surreal. From the resemblance she shares with the icon to the hysterical laugh at the end of the teaser, everything screamed of perfection. Just looking at that tiny snippet I can say with utmost certainty that they chose the right actor to play this role. Based on Joyce Carol Oates’ novel of the same name, the movie also stars Adrien Brody and Bobby Cannavale who play Monroe’s ex-husbands. And now, Ana de Armas who plays Marilyn Monroe in the upcoming biopic, Blonde, is teasing her fans by sharing behind-the-scenes pics before the trailer comes out.

Yep, on July 27, Ana de Armas took to her social media to share a couple of behind-the-scene pictures from Blonde and I’m still not over how perfectly she resembles Marilyn Monroe. Sharing the pictures, she wrote, “Can’t wait for everyone to see the wonderful work they do in this film. New trailer coming out tomorrow”.

The first behind-the-scene picture that Ana de Armas shared of Blonde is a recreation of a 1957 picture of Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller candidly snapped near a wooden fence. In the picture, the actor is seen wearing a blue polka dot dress and is holding flowers just as the icon did.

The second picture from the sets of Blonde shows Ana de Armas and Bobby Cannavale cosying up on top of a windowsill bookshelf. The third picture is a beautiful black-and-white candid of the actor wearing a dark version of Marilyn Monroe’s iconic white “Seven Year Itch” dress. In the picture, she is seen sandwiched between actors Xavier Samuel and Evan Williams who are wearing matching suits.

And in the last picture, Ana de Armas is seen in another of Marilyn Monroe’s classic dresses – the hot pink “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes” dress. In the picture, the actor is seen working with a choreographer who is teaching her the late starlet’s sultry moves.
Blonde is expected to stream on Netflix this year but an official release date has to still be announced. But it seems that the trailer of the biopic will be dropped later today.
