5 Times Birthday Boy Hrithik Roshan Made Both Women And Men Weak In Their Knees! Clearly A Gift, He Is!

5 Times Birthday Boy Hrithik Roshan Made Both Women And Men Weak In Their Knees! Clearly A Gift, He Is!

I think one of my first celebrity crushes growing up was Hrithik  Roshan and can you blame? LOOK AT HIM! And unlike most of my celebrity crushes that faded away as I grew up and my tastes different, my crush on Hrithik Roshan has been pretty consistent over the years. Not just his smouldering looks but his acting prowess paired with the movies he is generally seen in can make both men and women weak in the knees. Now with the release of the Vikram Vedha trailer, we Hrithik simps have more to look forward to. So, on his birthday, let’s discuss the 5 times Hrithik Roshan made men, women and non-binaries’ fantasies go wild,

1. When Laddoo ‘Neville Longbottomed’ into Rohan in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham

Let’s all not forget the originator of the ‘10 year transformation’ trend, Rohit Mehra. Which one of us did not fawn over Hrithik’s iconic entry as Rohit who not only had Poo but every single person in the cinema hall eying his beauty. And when he came loaded with impeccable tongue-twister reciting skills? Oof! It takes a lot of “Good looks, good looks and good looks!” to stand next to Shah Rukh Khan in his Indianwear and still steal our attention. But this Ladoo had us all wanting a bite! Why so gorgeous, Hrithik?!

2. When he literally stole our hearts and breathe in Dhoom 2

OMFG Hrithik as Mr A in Dhoom 2, NEED I SAY MORE?! First, Dhoom 2 is the best and only Dhoom movie that matters. I said what I said. Second, it all has to do with the iconic and dare I say, sizzling chemistry between Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Paired with his excellent dancing to Shiamak Davar choreography and that grunge glam look, how can I not notice how smoothly his body moves. LOOK AT THIS!

3. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara

Okay, keeping aside the fact that I absolutely love ZNMD, I love Hrithik Roshan in the movie. The way he portrayed Arjun Saluja his overall conflict of not being able to prioritise his own life in pursuit of a career is something that speaks to many. But because I am that person, I will also rave about how jaw-droppingly sexy Hrithik looks in his formal outfits.

Formals mein itna hot lagna IS NOT FUNNY, okay Duggu?

4. Bang Bang

Hrithik as the mysterious Rajveer Nanda has my whole heart. The action scenes with Katrina Kaif has me all heart-eyed.  Because same, Kat, SAME! Like… can we just take a few minutes and spy on this Adonis who makes our jaws drop with his stunts as much as he does with his shirtless looks? Okay, don’t go too far with the staring, but you know what I mean!

5. War

Yes, yes, Kabir Dhaliwal is hot in general, I stan. That helicopter scene, in which he makes his grand entry has everyone from us to Tiger Shroff and even Ashutosh Rana, staring in utter disbelief.

BUT Hrithik Roshan in ‘Ghunghroo’ is on a completely different level which I am not even ready for. The outfit, suave, the swagger, just him in general. Hrithik in ‘Ghunghroo’ has my whole attention!

Now that I have drooled over Hrithik Roshan so much, let’s also talk about how brilliant he is as an actor through these honourable mentions:

1. Koi… Mil Gaya

Hrithik Roshan as Rohit Mehra has my heart, periodt. Even as a kid and even now, I cannot help but feel for Rohit whenever he is bullied or treated unfairly due to him being differently-abled. Moreover, I cannot help but shed tears whenever the last scene of Jadoo leaving comes, no matter if I already see it coming.

2. Guzaarish

Ethan Mascarenhas and Hrithik Roshan’s portrayal of him is one of the best things ever. Filled with gorgeous visuals which are typical to Bhansali movies paired with brilliant performances by the beautiful Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan, this movie will move you to tears; making you rethink your perspective on euthanasia.

3. Jodhaa Akbar

When I think of King Akbar, someone like Hrithik Roshan does not pop into my head. Hence, I am always in awe of how nuanced, measured and soulful Hrithik’s Akbar is. Every time I watch the movie, which also stars Aishwarya Rai (yes, they are an iconic on-screen couple), I cannot help but gush over how well Hrithik was able to do in a role as complex as this one. And this one scene is one of my top Hrithik scenes.

While I can go on and on over my crush on Hrithik Roshan, I think you guys get the point. I am smitten, to say the least. Of course, his gorgeous looks are drool-worthy but he has also proven to be a worthy actor, knowing exactly how to play each character with measured nuance and his own personal flair. Happy Birthday to the brilliant and stunning, Hrithik Roshan!
