Twitter Unimpressed With Pricing And Quantity Of Products From Deepika Padukone’s Brand 82°E, Say ‘Skincare Gworls Can’t Be Ripped Off’

Deepika Padukone has established herself as one of the top and most versatile actresses in the country who has also charmed Hollywood with her acting prowess. And now, the actress has entered the entrepreneurial world and launched a wellness brand called 82°E. As soon as the announcement of the same was made by Deepika, fans were super excited to know what kind of products her brand has to offer. Well, that wish, too, was partially fulfilled by Deepika, as she unveiled two products during an Instagram live session. But it looks like skincare gworls are not happy with what they got after the huge amount of hype that was created around the brand. They have taken to Twitter to criticise their pricing and the quantity of the product she is offering in that price range!

It looks like all the enthusiasm that people had when Deepika Padukone launched her brand fizzled out when people heard about the products and their price range. After the live session, people thronged to Twitter to share their thoughts on the same. One of them found the pricing of the products way too high and wrote, “Did Deepika Padukone really launch a serum sunscreen with a 30ml quantity costing ₹1.8k and expect people to buy it because it’s her brand??? Let me tell you, skincare gworls make extremely informed decisions while purchasing. You can’t rip them off with the celeb factor”, whole wrote, “Naaa Deepika Padukone launched a skincare brand and she’s selling sunscreen drops spf 40 (whatever hell that is) at 2700. If i am paying that much, i want a shield around me and i should be able to see sunrays to bounce away from me. Kaun deta hai utna for sunscreen be serious.”

One of them pointed out how they would not like to buy from a celeb’s brand because they clearly are paying for the marketing instead of the product.

Another Twitter user pointed out that the names of the products were also quote unimpressive.
