This Reel By Instagrammer Shehzad Malik Perfectly Depicts Men’s Victim Complex When Women’s Rights Come Up!

I think these days one can easily forego traditional media in favour of online content creators. And honestly what is so wrong with it? Most of this content is created by one person and is pretty fun to watch. Not to mention it is accessible and free to watch. Plus, a lot of them talk about relatable issues and social problems that many bigger productions might not talk about. In recent times, a lot of such creators have emerged and since reels became popular, Instagram has turned into a huge platform for many such people. One such creator is Shehzad Malik.

Shehzad Malik is a YouTube and Instagram creator. His Instagram content focuses mainly on short reels which are relatable and tend to comment on societal issues, general norms and tendencies. He features in these videos by himself and acts our different characters according to the skit. As you can imagine, his reels tend to have a very Bhuvan Bam vibe to them. This is the reel that I first watched that made me want to see more of him as a creator.

Honestly, did he lie though? I feel the only time men talk about their issues is when women discuss theirs. As if it is some kind of competition on who is more oppressed (spoiler alert: it is women). I feel like men tend to have this innate need to point the finger at someone else and immediately get defensive because this need to remain and victim and have no real accountability is ingrained within them. After all, women have always been blamed for any screw-ups men do, right? Why not maintain that pattern?

My rant aside, here are some of Shehzad Malik’s reels which had me in splits due to the accuracy of them all:
