This Thirstday, We Are Swooning Over Bridgerton Men, And Their Passionate Love Confessions!

There is nothing in the world that excites a reader more than a good slow-burn romance. The kind of romance where there is love at first sight, where the slightest touch from each other person makes them quiver, where they want to kiss each other to oblivion but they are too stubborn to admit that, and where they end up bursting their confessions out loud while in an argument! Uff, throw in some spice along with these elements, and you have the story of a perfect slow-burn enemies-to-lovers romance. The Bridgerton shows so far have ticked all these boxes but my favourite bits remain where the Bridgerton men have confessed their love to their ladies. And on Thirstday, we are going to thirst over those butterfly-inducing, heartwarming, and soul-burning dialogues!

Bridgerton Season 1: The Duke And I

Rege Jene Page as Simon Basset had my heart right from the moment he uttered his first dialogue but he surely swooned me when he confessed his feelings to Daphne. His dialogues where he says his thoughts about her never end is where I went weak in the knees! Lord, had I been Daphne, I would burn for him, too!

Bridgerton Season 2: The Viscount Who Loved Me

Okay, I know this scene remains a favourite of many Bridgteron fans and I absolutely get why. The heavy breathing, the sighs, and the silent desire coursing through Anthony and Kate are all visible! And when the Viscount told Kate that she is the bane of his existence and the object of his desire, I let out a squeal because that has to be one of the most romantic lines ever said in the world of fiction!

Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story

When Charlotte decides to confront George and demands to know if he loves her or not, I knew we have a confession coming! And oh, when he says, “I cannot breath when you are not near” is when I clutch my pillow tighter because it was such a vulnerable moment for George. It was evident he is tired of the doctor, the harsh treatments, the collision of the heavens and the Earth in his mind, and the relief he felt at knowing Charlotte will save him filled my eyes with tears!

Seeing all these calm and composed Bridgerton men lose their composure around the women they love was the most satisfying thing to see in the show! So, tell us which confession you like the most.
