The year is finally coming to an end and with that we bring to you the best of everything that has happened in the world of fashion and beauty in 2016. As usual, it was filled with a whole lot of red-carpet looks; however, this time round, we also saw these stunners take over globally — I mean, didn’t Deepika slay in that Monisha Jaising ensemble at the MTV awards, and guess what…Priyanka Chopra’s gown by Zuhair Murad was one of Google’s top trending Oscar red-carpet dresses of the year! One of the biggest talked-about red-carpet beauty looks in 2016, has got to be Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s daring lip at The Cannes Festival. The bold lip colour was the talk of the town for a while — even Amul Butter picked up on it.

When talking about red-carpet looks on our home ground, none of the celebs held back! Sonam Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez’s very recent appearances at the Stardust Awards were one of the few that stood out that night. Both walked down the red-carpet in Yanina Couture gowns. Alia Bhatt’s dress at The Filmfare Awards was one of her best red-carpet looks so far. And going into flashback mode to earlier in the year, Deepika Padukone’s white Sabyasachi ensemble at the IIFA’s 2016 was so dreamy.

If you think the men were far behind, then you’re mistaken. This year, Ranveer Singh upped himself (if that’s even possible) where he was spotted in the strangest ensembles on the red carpet, but he totally pulled them off, no questions asked. Did you see what he was wearing at The GQ Men Of The Year Awards this year?! Nobody but Ranveer would be able to slay in something so bizarrely out there! Well done, dude.
