Get The Look: Shraddha Kapoor’s Popping Pink Eyeliner
I have to admit, I am one of those who own a lot of makeup but never really use it, as I usually end up doing a classic liner or a subtle brown eye. For days when I am feeling fancy, maybe a black smokey eye, or glitter for those extra special days. To put things simply, my eye makeup usually oscillates between brown and black.
However, when ace makeup artist Shaan Muttathil posted a picture of Shraddha Kapoor’s pink eye makeup look, which she wore with a plum, Sameer Madan dress, I was instantly inspired to expand my colour spectrum and add that pink liner to cart.

Shraddha promoted her upcoming film Batti Gul Meter Chaalu in a strapless, plum Sameer Madan midi dress, which she paired with gold peep-toe heels from Vincenzio Robertina and Deepa Gurnani jewellery. She kept her eyes the focus and left the rest of the look sleek, with a fresh base, sleek straight hair and pinkish lips.
If you loved Shraddha’s look as much as we did, then here is a break down of her look. Keep scrolling…
Base
Once you are done with prepping your skin with your usual C-T-M, apply a sheer layer of foundation. Go for light to medium coverage and not full coverage, so it looks nude, natural, and lets your skin show through.
Brows
Brush your eyebrows in upward strokes to make them look fuller and fluffier.
Kajal
Now use your trusty kajal, not on your lids, or waterline, but to tight line your inner lash line. This makes your lashes look fuller and instantly opens up your eyes.
Eyeshadow
Taking a mauve hue, dust some eyeshadow on your lids and crease as the transition colour. Lightly dust the eyeshadow along your lower lashline to give your eyes depth!
Liner
Now to add some more contrast and pop to the mauve eyeshadow, line your lids with a pink eyeliner. Pick a pencil liner so you can smudge it to give it a subtle and dreamy look.
Lashes
While in most eye looks you can get away with mascara, in this look you need to add subtle false lashes to tie the look together.
Blush
Now finish the look by adding a pop of colour to your skin with a peachy-pink blush!
Lips
Using a pink lip pencil, lightly fill your lips in!
Voila! You’re done! Just pop on a pair of statement earrings and wear your hair straight and sleek!
