Remember when Rihanna shared that her love for lipsticks began after she spotted her mother applying lipstick? Well, mine started when I saw my mom wearing a classic metallic brown shade. I remember that day like it was yesterday. I was barely 6 years old. And today I’m 25 years old and a proud owner of nearly 500 lipsticks and my love for brown shades still remains the same. Rihanna is no different. We all know that the singer’s mother has been a source of inspiration for her beauty brand Fenty Beauty. Now, ahead of Valentine’s Day, Rihanna has proved her love for lipsticks and her mother by launching a new range of refillable lipsticks.

Yepp, Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty has announced the drop of a new range of Fenty Icon Refillable Lipsticks in a semi-matte lightweight formula with long-lasting colour and (of course) it comes in a refillable tube. These Fenty Icon lipsticks will be launched in ten beautiful shades of nude and red. Apart from high-pigment, these refillable lipsticks will also offer a hydrating formula with vitamin C, E and hyaluronic acid. And get this – these Fenty lipsticks will only come in 10 shades. FYI, they will be launching on the Fenty Beauty website on February 4.

Speaking to Allure, Rihanna shared that one of the shades of the upcoming range of Fenty refillable lipstick is inspired by a memory from her childhood when she spotted her mother applying red lipstick. According to ELLE, the singer said that the Fenty Icon lipstick’s bullet is designed to fit into the cupid’s bow. Well, okay then.
