All The Make-Up Inspiration You Need For NH7 Weekender

NH7 Weekender in Pune and Bangalore is nearly here and I’m sure you have your outfits ready. If you’re still on the fence about how to accessorise your look, allow Hauterfly to help you with this nifty guide. Now that you’ve got your outfits sorted, it’s time to tackle the make-up. I’ve rounded up some really neat looks that scream music festival chic. There’s simply NO WAY you won’t love them so grab your make-up and go for it, girls!

Graphic Eyes

One of the biggest make-up trends of 2015 is the graphic eyeliner, and was spotted on many runway shows both internationally and here in India. Not for the fainthearted, graphic liner is THE bold look to sport at music festivals. There’s no hard and fast rule. Feel free to experiment with shapes and colours; after all, make-up is a unique form of self-expression. The video below does a great job of showing you how to do an edgy winged eyeliner courtesy make-up artist Pallavi Symons. It’s a very modern take and one we’re totally going to be trying this weekend.

90s-Inspired Brown Lips

We’re going through a major throwback-to-the-90s moment as far as beauty trends are concerned. So naturally, brown lipsticks are having a real revival right now. Nothing spells rebel grunge better than brown lipstick. So try a moisturising formula and keep your eyes minimal. Take some inspiration from supermodel Gigi Hadid below or try Kylie Jenner’s more trussed up take.

The Faux Lip Ring

When model du jour Cara Delevingne attended the Chanel Exhibition Party in London this past October, she wore a classic smokey eyes-red lipstick combo with a very modern twist: the addition of a gold lip ring. I immediately knew this was a music festival-worthy look. The best part? You don’t even need to get yourself a painful lip piercing or uncomfortable lip jewellery. You can easily replicate the look with a swipe of metallic gold eyeliner. Take a cue from make-up artist Peter Philips below, who did this exact same thing at Dries Van Noten’s Spring Summer 2015 show.

Bold Brows

Brush your brows, fluff them up, then fill them in. Full brows are a statement in themselves. Most Indian girls are blessed with bushy brows, which sadly have been plucked into oblivion. Here’s how to get your brows back to their former glory. If you’re among the lucky few who still have lush brows, flaunt them fearlessly!
