Masaba Gupta’s new collaboration will walk you down memory lane…and no, this time it isn’t fashion related! Launching her own line of lip colours with Lakmé, this collection is as vibrant as she is.
What’s it all about? Well, revamping the brand’s classic Absolute Lip Pout range, the colours in this limited collection are inspired by our favourite candies — ones that will totally send you reminiscing about your good ol’ childhood days.
If you’re a sucker for sugar candy (ummm…who isn’t?), you will realise that the inspiration of these lip colours comes from famous sweets, which probably date back to your childhood. Mango Bite, Melody, Roll A Cola, Phantom Cigarettes — yeah, rings a bell, doesn’t it?
The Lakmé Absolute Lip Pouts Masaba Lips collection consists of 10 matte lipsticks that have Masaba’s iconic signature prints, with candy on the packaging. These totally wearable colours range from eclectic bright colours, to nudes — all priced at only Rs 750!
This fashion meets beauty collaboration would be a first for Lakmé, besides the famous bi-annual fashion week, of course. And guess what? It’s the first time a designer has featured on the campaign image for the makeup brand, instead of model!
