MAC has become one of the most covetable brands in India ever since it launched here five years ago. And it’s only natural because the brand makes some of the best makeup products for women of varying skin colours. I don’t remember the last time I heard a girl complain about a MAC product; it’s not for nothing that the brand enjoys cult status.
It’s lipsticks are among its best-selling products, because the range of formulas are excellent and the sheer variety of colours they come in are mind-boggling; there’s literally something there for everyone! Like every other girl, I love my tube of Russian Red. I can’t imagine losing it, especially since getting my hands on one was nothing short of a task.
However, I recently chanced upon this lipstick from the brand MILANI which is an EXACT twin to Russian Red. It piqued my curiosity, and I wondered if I could find more lookalikes of other MAC lipsticks. Most MAC lipsticks retail at Rs 1,450 and are available at MAC outlets across India, so this list is not about finding cheaper versions of MAC lipsticks.
