Lilly ‘Superwoman’ Singh Has Launched A New Lipstick!
If you don’t know who Lilly ‘Superwoman’ Singh is, step out from under that rock you’ve been hiding. The Canadian-Indian YouTube sensation is known for her hilarious and entertaining take on all things from beauty and fashion to her Punjabi parents and is THE female icon millennial girls look up to for inspiration. (Her 8 million followers on YouTube is no lie.)
It’s no wonder then that beauty giant Smashbox has roped her in for a collaboration on — you guessed it — RED LIPSTICK! The social media star usually has on a fierce red lipstick in most of her videos, so it was natural that she pick this vibrant hue for her first beauty collab. Singh has created a limited edition deep red shade called Bawse (we’re totally digging that name!) for Smashbox’s best-selling Always On Liquid Lipstick range.

Bawse — Lilly’s take on the word “boss”, that she uses frequently in her vlogs — comes in an intense, deep red shade, is purely matte and water-resistant. Singh handpicked the colour and even helped in the design and packaging. In her own words, she says about the new lipstick, “You know, I’m not about to carry anything in any purse and touch up-ish throughout the day. Nah, bruh. A Bawse doesn’t have time for that. A Bawse is too busy conquering the world!”
Bawse is available at both Smashbox and Sephora, but there’s no word on whether it’ll be available in India yet. However, if you have friends travelling abroad, you might want to bribe them into getting you back a tube. Or two.
