However, when Isha Ambani Piramal recently took it a step further by announcing in a video that she doesn’t use any skincare products at all – no face wash, no moisturizer, no SPF – it left the internet collectively raising its eyebrows and questioning the validity of such a claim.

They highlighted the irony by pointing out, “I was watching this video where Isha Ambani Piramal mentions that she doesn’t even use a face wash…!!! She is the owner of Tira…!! Having access to all sorts of treatments, she could have just said she drinks lots of water (like many celebrities) and uses basic moisturiser. But she chose to go with a white lie.”

For the unversed, Isha Ambani heads the Reliance Retail which included TIRA Beauty, a one-stop-shop for all things beauty. So of course it is hard to digest she has no skincare routine. And let’s not forget the most basic thing, if someone wears a lot of makeup (which she did during Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding) and doesn’t remove it properly with a face wash, it will cause breakouts which don’t seem to happen for Isha. Secondly in between those numerous outfit changes during the pre-wedding she also did makeup changes which are not possible if you don’t remove it with the help of a cleanser.
The third point is, considering everyone knows that in order for a makeup look to turn out flawless and not cakey one has to follow a solid skincare routine, it’s a little unlikely that her makeup looks that good and lasts all day long without a proper skincare base.
